Cronulla Surfing Academy is a 10 minute walk from the train station or CSA can arrange pick from the station upon request.Cronulla offers some of Sydney’s best surfing, with 5kms of coastline providing a variety of breaks for the beginner right through to the elite. The area also has a thriving café and restaurant scene, including local favourites The Nun’s Pool for coffee and healthy breakfasts, original gelato flavours at Frangipani, and restaurants such as Summer Salt and Sealevel Restaurant & Bar. Cronulla is the first Australian metropolitan beach to be recognised as a National Surfing Reserve. “It’s a great initiative to help nature remain pure around the beaches of Cronulla,” said the area’s most famous surfer, Mark “Occy” Occhilupo at the declaration in 2008.
